SMALL SCALE SINGLE LAMP - UNKNOWN ORIGIN A Beautiful Small Scale Single Student Lamp of Unknown Origin. You will note the size as compared to a Manhattan Single Student Lamp, as well as some similar shapes. The Green Period Shade is 5.5 Inches at the Fitter. This Single Student Lamp of Unknown Origin is fitted with a Crystal Light Burner and is Electrified without alteration to the burner or drilling the lamp. FINE SINGLE LAMPS BY EDWARD MILLER Very fine Large Single Edward Miller Student Lamp shown with a Rare Emeralite Peacock Eye Deep Dished Tam Shade. No Holes drilled in this lamp, wire goes thru the burner. Close up of the Peacock Eye Shade, conversion back to oil is just to remove the bulb and disconnect wire. No holes drilled in conversion. Click any picture to enlarge. This Very Fine Lamp is a Rochester Study Lamp, No. 2 Single Student Lamp, detailed in Miller pg 25. This lamp has an unusually large oil reserve which holds a full quart of fuel, allowing it to burn for a much longer period of time without refill. Shown with a Robins Egg Blue Ribbed Swirl Period Shade. Another picture of the Rochester Study Lamp, this one with a Period Robins Egg Blue Straight Ribbed Shade. Wavecrest or Mount Washington Shade shown on a Very Nice Edward Miller Single Student Lamp. This shade has folds, not the typical ribs, with pink shading on one side of each fold. It has a beautifully painted branch that extends accross the folds with blue flowers. A Masterful Shade Producer is responsible for this shade. Peacock Eye Cased Glass Shade by Emeralite In Tam-O-Shanter Form is shown on the same Fine Edward Miller Single Student Lamp. This shade has the dark rich sharply defined Peacock Eye Pattern that is not present with many Emeralite Shades. The Edward Miller Lamp is beautifully Restored with a Fresh Polish and is not yet converted to Electric. MANHATTAN BRASS CO. SINGLE STUDENT LAMPS Very Rare Large Manhattan Single Student Lamp with Vase Shaped Oil Reserve. This model was often decorated by Tiffany as shown on the cover of the Miller Book. Manhattan Platform Base........Exceptional.      This is a very nice Student Lamp by Manhattan Brass Company.  It is shown with a beautiful classic Turned Edge Green Cased Glass Shade, has all original parts, oil reserve tank in original condition and very gently wired with only one small hole drilled in the connector ball.  This lamp was made in large numbers as Manhattan Brass Company dominated the Student Lamp Market for a period.  Any student lamp collection would be incomplete without this lamp.               ASSORTED SINGLE LAMPS BY BRADLEY & HUBBARD, E.
